Welcome to dicom2stl.io , an online service that allows users to convert DICOM files to STL format for 3D modeling and printing.

1. Service Description

   dicom2stl.io is a tool designed to convert DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) files into STL (Stereolithography) format. This Service is intended solely for educational, research, and visualization purposes. It is not a medical device and should not be used for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.

2. Use of the Site

   You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use our site or services in any way that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair the site or interfere with any other user’s experience.

3. Account and Purchases

   You may be required to provide personal information to complete a purchase. You agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your email and any other personal credentials used for access.

4. Payments

   All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s terms and conditions and privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy. We do not store your full payment details.

5. User Responsibilities

   By using this Service, you agree:

   • Not to upload any personal health information (PHI) or identifiable patient data unless you are authorized and have proper anonymization in place.
   • That you are solely responsible for the legality, integrity, and privacy of the data you upload.
   • Not to use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose, including but not limited to violating intellectual property laws, privacy laws, or medical data protection regulations.

6. Data Privacy and Security

   We respect your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

   We take reasonable steps to ensure the temporary storage and processing of uploaded files in a secure environment. Uploaded files are automatically deleted from our servers shortly after processing is complete. However, we do not guarantee data confidentiality and recommend users do not upload files containing sensitive or identifiable patient data.

7. Intellectual Property

   All content and software on dicom2stl.io (excluding user-uploaded files) are owned by us or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

   You retain ownership of the files you upload and the converted files you download.

8. Refund Policy

   Refunds may be granted at our discretion. If you experience an issue with your purchase, please contact us with your purchase email.

9. Limitation of Liability

   The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Service.

   To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for:
